Ambu N° 6 Silicone Face Mask (Adult Large)

The Ambu N° 6 Face Mask (Ambu code: 000319000) is the largest size in the original Ambu silicone mask range. It is specifically engineered for large adults or patients with specific facial anatomies where a standard size mask may result in air leakage during manual ventilation.

Key Features:

• Optimal Seal for Large Patients: The self-inflating silicone cuff adapts perfectly to wider facial structures, ensuring maximum efficiency during resuscitation.

• Clear Dome: Provides an unobstructed view of the patient's airway, allowing for the immediate detection of cyanosis, vomitus, or spontaneous breathing.

• Ergonomic Thumb Rest: Features a built-in thumb rest to help the healthcare provider maintain a secure grip on the larger mask without hand strain.

• Fully Autoclavable: Manufactured entirely from durable, latex-free medical-grade silicone, allowing for repeated autoclave sterilization at 134°C.

• Universal Fit: Equipped with standard 15/22mm connectors, making it fully compatible with all standard Ambu bags and manual resuscitators.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

When should I use a Size 6 mask over a Size 5?

Size 6 is ideal for larger-framed individuals. It is also frequently utilized for patients with facial hair (beards), as the larger surface area can sometimes help achieve a better seal.
